Guest Presenter, Megan Salar

LCSW, ACADC, CCTP-II, EMDR-C, a licensed clinical social worker who specializes in treating trauma and addiction.

This 1-hour EMDR webinar introduces *Restricted Processing* as a practical, trauma-informed way to safely work with highly activated, complex, or dissociative clients when standard EMDR feels “too much, too fast.” Participants will learn how to titrate exposure, contain material, and maintain dual awareness without abandoning EMDR altogether. Through brief didactic teaching and clinical examples, we’ll explore when to use restricted processing, how to structure sessions, and how to pace targeting so clients experience *relief and success rather than overwhelm or shutdown.
