Helping clients quit smoking requires more than addressing physical addiction—it means working with the emotional, psychological, and behavioural patterns that keep the habit in place. In this webinar, you’ll learn how to use EFT as a highly adaptable tool for smoking cessation, from identifying emotional triggers to resolving the underlying stressors and beliefs that reinforce smoking behaviour. Includes case examples from the research trials, and practical protocols for use in private practice.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the emotional and subconscious drivers of smoking behaviour.
  • Apply targeted EFT techniques for cravings, triggers, and relapse prevention.
  • Learn how to structure an EFT-based smoking cessation program.

AGENDA

Lecture & Brief Discussion (60 min) - Gain deeper insight into why EFT may not always produce expected results. This session covers common client blocks, clinical troubleshooting strategies, and techniques for re-engaging clients when tapping seems ineffective—moving beyond protocol into a more nuanced, responsive EFT practice.
