Join Megan Salar, MSW, for a practical webinar on strengthening Phase 2 of EMDR through adaptive resourcing strategies. Discover why resourcing is the foundation of trauma treatment, and how expanding adaptive information fosters safety, stabilization, and long-term healing. Megan will share creative approaches for developing individualized client resources—ranging from mindfulness practices and sensory-based techniques to AI-enhanced imagery and strengths-based interventions. Learn how to apply the SAFE (Somatic Attachment Focused EMDR) framework, using the 4 E’s—Exploring, Expanding, Experiencing, and Expanding the New—to help clients deepen resilience and adaptability. You’ll also gain strategies for navigating challenges when resourcing feels difficult, ensuring clients can access stabilization skills before moving into trauma processing. With real-world case examples and actionable tools, this session will expand your EMDR toolkit and support transformative outcomes for your clients.

AGENDA

Lecture & Brief Discussion (60 min) – Learn how to strengthen EMDR Phase 2 through adaptive resourcing, apply the SAFE framework, and develop individualized client resources with practical tools and case examples.
