In this session we will discuss the processes of Values and Committed Action in the service of Step 3; take values-driven action. A distinction will be made between values and goals.

The common situation of apparent inter-parent values “conflicts” will be explored. I will describe the useful distinction between “choices” and “decisions”. The “two-sides of the same coin” metaphor/exercise will be discussed and practiced.

The concept of parent M.A.P.s (Motivated Action Plans) will be introduced and practiced.
